The following terms and conditions apply to all conferences, events, and seminars (hereinafter referred to as "events") organized by ESB Marketing Netzwerk AG: (Subject to change | Version dated November 7, 2025)
Registration is binding. A legally valid contract is created upon receipt of the registration. The participant will receive a confirmation of participation in the form of an invoice. The confirmation of participation will be sent by email.
The participation fee is per ticket and conference plus statutory VAT and is due within 14 days of invoicing. Special conditions, discounts, or other benefits cannot be combined. For two-day events, tickets cannot be split; the purchased ticket can only be used by one participant. The conference, event, and seminar documents are protected by copyright. The reproduction, distribution, or other use of the documents is only permitted with the express consent of the organizer.
The organizer accepts no liability for any program changes, printing errors, or speaker cancellations.
The following cancellation conditions apply to cancellations:
Cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the event: 50% refund of the participation fee Cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the event: No refund
These conditions also apply in the event of non-attendance by the participant, including in cases of force majeure, illness, accident, or similar reasons. Cancellations must be made in writing by mail (ESB Marketing Netzwerk AG, P.O. Box 519, CH-9001 St. Gallen) or email (kongresse@esb-online.com). The date of the postmark/receipt will be used to determine eligibility for a refund.
A replacement participant may be registered at any time without additional fees.
For conferences where hotel bookings are made through ESB, the following cancellation conditions apply:
Cancellation up to 7 days before the start of the event: 100% refund of the hotel fee Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the event: No refund

If the event is postponed, the ticket is automatically valid for the new date. Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. If the event is canceled, participants can request a refund of the amount already paid within 30 days. In this case, the amount will be refunded in full. Beyond this, the participant is not entitled to any further rights. In particular, claims for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs or loss of working hours are excluded.
If the event in question does not take place or is postponed or canceled due to circumstances beyond the organizer's control, such as force majeure and equivalent events, e.g., national mourning, weather conditions, strikes or war, epidemics or health hazards, the organizer shall not be held responsible for any resulting losses or damages. In such cases, the admission fee cannot be refunded.
Visitors remain at the event venue at their own risk. In the interests of safety and the orderly and smooth running of the event, participants are obliged to follow the instructions of the police, the organizer, security personnel, and the venue management. The implementation of advertising measures (e.g., promotions) or other measures that go beyond mere participation in the event is only permitted with the prior consent of the organizer. The organizer is entitled to exclude the participant in question from the event in the event of violations of the General Terms and Conditions and/or the house rules posted at the event venue.
The organizer is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, liability also applies in cases of simple negligence, but is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Claims for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health remain unaffected by the above limitations. Clothing and luggage are left in the cloakroom at the participant's own risk.
Compliance with the applicable data protection regulations is a matter of course for ESB Marketing Netzwerk AG and any co-organizers. The information received from the participant will not be passed on to third parties and will only be used for the purpose of conducting the event. However, participants agree that ESB Marketing Netzwerk AG and co-organizers may use this data for their own advertising purposes or, upon request, pass it on to sponsors for one-time use in connection with the sponsored event. If a participant expressly does not wish this, he or she must inform ESB Marketing Netzwerk AG in writing immediately after registration.
The participant is aware that pictures and/or statements made by him or her may be recorded at the event and, by participating in the event, agrees that ESB Marketing Netzwerk AG may use this material for its own documentation without restriction. This does not include pictures or videos that portray the participant in a discriminatory manner.
Swiss law applies to the contractual relationship and all disputes. The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen.
